Help Me Heal Fund

Minimize
Not every dog or cat who arrives at PAWS Atlanta is in a suitable condition to be adopted. Some come to us with urgent medical needs ranging from broken bones, skin burns or infections requiring critical care, and other orthopedic and medical issues requiring surgical intervention. Others come with deep emotional scars due to neglect and mistreatment. The Help Me Heal Fund provides medical care for extreme illness or injury for an animal in our care.

Our no-kill philosophy is very simple. It means that we give all of the animals in our care, the attention they need and deserve. Period. Donate to the Help Me Heal Fund today!

Help Me Heal Fund - Deputy Dog

Minimize
At PAWS Atlanta, we are extremely proud of our strict policies to ensure the health and well being of all the beloved animals in our care. We make a commitment to each animal’s health upon his/her arrival.

Meet Deputy Dog
This three-year-old, small lab mix was picked up on the side of the road by a deputy sheriff after being hit by a car. He was rescued from a high-kill county shelter by PAWS Atlanta and given a second chance at life. His front leg will need to be amputated, but he is expected to make a full recovery and go on to live a normal, healthy life. The cost of the amputation surgery is approximately $400 and Deputy Dog needs YOUR help through the Help Me Heal Fund.

Help this sweet boy have his surgery by giving to the Help Me Heal Fund today.

Spay/Neuter Fund

Minimize
Each year, over four million animals are euthanized in shelters across the country. As one of the few no-kill animal shelters in Georgia, PAWS Atlanta strives to reduce the problem of pet overpopulation by spaying/neutering our shelter animals and offering low-cost spay/neuters to the public.

By making a tax-deductible contribution to the PAWS Atlanta Spay/Neuter Fund, you are helping to alleviate the terrible consequence of pet overpopulation. Donate to the Spay/Neuter Fund today!
