Information About Your Dog's Spay/Neuter Appointment

Thank you for scheduling your dog's procedure with the PAWS Atlanta online scheduling system.  Please print and keep this page for your reference.

• Please arrive to the shelter by 8 AM on the day of your appointment.  You may pick up your dog after 5 PM the same day.

• DO NOT GIVE ANY FOOD OR WATER TO YOUR DOG AFTER MIDNIGHT.  IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOUR DOG HAS NO FOOD OR WATER IS HIS/HER SYSTEM PRIOR TO SURGERY.

• Remember to bring your dog's proof of rabies vaccination and (if your dog is over 7 years of age) a copy of satisfactory pre-anesthetic blood work as performed by your veterinarian.

• If you need to RESCHEDULE your appointment, you may do so via the online system or by calling the shelter at 770-593-1155. 

• If you need to CANCEL your dog's appointment, you must do so by 5 PM the Friday before the date of your dog's procedure, or your reservation fee will NOT be refunded.  You may call the shelter at 770-593-1155 or email us for assistance with canceling your appointment.
